WHY FOOTBALL IS MORE POWERFUL THAN RELIGION- PASCHAL CHIKERO

Religion is an opium they say. Opium is a sleep producing material made from the seed of White Poppy according to the New Method Dictionary. Religion ties back the mind it captures. No religious mind is alive to the realities of life! Religion puts your mind to sleep, makes you believe that your life is not in your hands. It makes you feel that the God you believe in is solely responsible to reward and punish you, it makes the God your Pay Master.

The role religion creates for you in life is to worship the God in your life, it makes you believe that if you can pray the most you will achieve the most both here on earth and in the afterlife. If you use your brain that your creator gave you, you will agree with me that this is a big deception! Nigeria has been ranked as the most religious nation on planet earth yet it has achieved nothing but ranking as the world’s capital of poverty! Churches and Mosques are littered all over every streets and villages in Nigeria yet poverty is the ruling king of our streets and villages. I believe in verifiable facts and not religious philosophies.

Have we ever sat down to ponder why the Whites who brought us these religions are not ranking as the most religious countries in the world yet they are the First World Countries while the most religious countries are among the Third World Countries ? Why haven’t the prayers they brought to us gotten us above them? For me the answer is in the game of football!

In football, nobody believes that prayer can change the game rather it is believe that the collective effort of the team members is the sole determiner of the outcome of the game so everybody brings their A game to each outing. In football , the performance or the mistake of an individual player can make or ma a game. That’s why you don’t see top players and coaches coming out in press conferences to say with God we will win this game. You can’t hear that the team that won prayed more and God rewarded them with a win…. Nobody says that but we do so in Nigeria.

The life of the Europeans who ironically brought Christianity to us is not measured by how religious you are. It is more like it is in football, it is measured on your skills, passion for what you do and the level of determination to put in your best to make a difference!

#BigBrotherNaija : Tacha Pens An Emotional Message

Hours after Tacha was disqualified from the Big Brother Naija house, the self acclaimed Porthacourt first daughter took to her instagram page to thank her fans.

“Dear Titans,
Words cannot readily express how much your love and acceptance means to me at this point. Even my imperfection could not sway your support. 
THANK YOU!

Coming out of the Big Brother House disqualified was never my intention. Unfortunately, my weakness played against my strength and cut short what should have been a grand ending, with or without the prize.

I sincerely apologize for every action on my part that led to this point and I take full responsibility for it all. 
I am an adult and ought to be in control of my emotions, but I'm human and I failed time and again. Please forgive me. I sincerely wanted to make it, at least to the 99th day.

The fight to be seen and heard takes its toll on everyone of us irrespective of where, when or how it comes. What counts is what we make out of a seemingly ugly situation. 
I know I need to work on my emotional health... That's a fact as I have become conscious of it now. Being on this show has shown me that, I am not just a work in progress but I have the chance to become a better me on all fronts, if I give myself the chance to heal.
And this I promise to give due diligence.

So for what you have been to me, I heard some of you even cried and held vigil for me. I cannot thank you enough. You all became my mother, friends and family and this means so much to me right now. Your prayers, time and resources spent to push me through to this point cannot be quantified in any form, but i sincerely thank you from the depth of my heart.

Against the odds, you all are the reason why I stand and remain hopeful that everything will fall into place, that I can make it through this storm and come out on the sunny side in time.

Immediately Tacha was disqualified from the Big Brother Naija house over her brawl with Mercy, Nigerians started calling for Peter Okoye’s attention to fulfill his promise to give Tacha N60 million if she gets sent out of the house early .

Interestingly, few days after his declaration, self -crowned youngest billionaire, Tunde Biletiri, who challenged Huspuppi and Mompha has been arrested over series of frauds running Into several millions of Naira.

Sahara Weekly’s check revealed that trouble started with the self crowned billionaire when he was arrested at the Portharcourt airport bragging that he just brought a private jet and Is in the same league with Tinubu and other private jet owners.
Consequently, he was detained for questioning by security operatives. It was during interrogation they discovered he was on the police wanted list.

We reliably gathered that few months back, he submitted a proposal to Mr Osawaru Joseph, owner of Exquisite Homes 2 hotel and Lounge, claiming that he is a close pal to Singer, Wizkid. According to our source, he claimed Wizkid agreed to accept 15m to perform at the show. Immediately, they paid him the money . Later, he called the business man and said Wizkid said he can’t perform for such an amount and was demanding for another N15m.
However, a friend to Osawaru convinced him to reach out to Wizkid’s manager directly for confirmation and it was then the burble burst that though he called them and they negotiated for N15m, he never Paid them a dime.

Secondly , another club owner and boss of Level 9, Mr Obi Kingsley, based in Asaba contracted him to organize a show for him and bring Burna Boy as the lead artiste. He claimed Burna boy agreed to perform only if they are Willing to pay N25m and they transfered the money to him. Sadly, he did not remit any money to the management of Burna Boy.

Aside that, we gathered that he defrauded other business owners and show promoters claiming he is has connection both politically and in the entertainment circle.

Our findings revealed that he squandered all the money on frivolities. He got a permanent suites at Oriental hotel, Lekki and camped different shades of girls and lived a flamboyant lifestyle deceiving people that he is fronting for politicians .

Thus, when he was arrested, they discovered he has squandered all the money and acting irrationally. He has been in detention since 10 days ago and has been charged to Court.

Sahara Weekly spoke with both Mr Joseph Osawaru and who confirmed our story and promised to shed more light on the issue. We equally spoke with the IPO in charge of the Case and he said Tunde is an international fraud.

It would be recalled that self-crowned Young and wealthy publisher Of Black celebrity Magazine, Tunde Biletiri set the social media on Fire with his claim that he is richer than Huspuppi and Mompha.
It is an insult to compare me with Mompha and Hushpuppi – Tunde Biletiri says

The young publisher who called himself the youngest billionaire said both of them are broke and can’t be compare with the real wealth he controlled.

In an Instagram post on his official page,@biletiri he claimed that while they are eager to meet Governors, he is busy sponsoring elections behind the scene.

“Billionaires don’t make noise, don’t be deceived by what @huspuppi and @mompha display on the internet they are broke niggas…. Dangote won’t pose with his bag of cement ….. #1 billion well spent….

Anthony Nwakaeme (born 21 March 1989), also known as Tony, is a Nigerian footballer who plays as forward for Trabzonspor in Super Lig , Turkey .

Anthony Nwakaeme who is one of the leading scorers in the Turkish league and the division plays for the same club Skipper of the Super Eagles, John Mikel Obi and Ogenyi Onazi play for, Trabzonspor. 

While being I nterviewed by Anthony Bekederemo of Brillo FM, Anthony Nwakeme opened up on life in his club , Trabzonspor and his relationship with teammates John Mikel Obi and Ogenyi Onazi .

“I am happy having John Mikel Obi and Onazi In the same club with me. Having John Mikel Obi and Onazi is a great experience. With what I know about football, this man Mikel Obi is a legend. It is great having your brothers with you in a foreign land “ .
